How does it work?

When walking on the root carpet, your feet encounter the raised elements of the carpet, which form irregularly arranged roots. Just like in a forest. Receptors in the soles of your feet "feel" them and activate muscles that would otherwise remain unused on flat floors. In this simple way, we exercise our entire foot without having to do targeted exercises.

This is essential for small children who are still developing their movement patterns.

The carpet simulates tree roots. It is quite firm and rather rough, which surprised me, but it is very pleasant for the feet. It doesn't have a high pile, so it's easy to maintain (just shake out or vacuum with a hoover attachment). The design is acceptable to me, eventually the children will have it in their room, but you can choose more neutral colours and shapes. It is a sensorimotor aid that stimulates the foot, supports proper foot arch, helps improve lower limb stability, children can train their balance on it. I placed it in a strategic location in the passage between the living room and kitchen, so we cross it many times a day, and the children sometimes play on it."
