Ingredients: Butyrospermum Parkii Butter (shea butter), Cocos Nucifera Oil (coconut oil), Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis Oil (almond oil), Vitis Vinifera Oil (grapeseed oil), Persea Gratissima Oil (avocado oil), Theobroma Cacao Seed Butter (cocoa butter), Tocopheryl Acetate (vitamin E), Alcohol (organic alcohol), Vanilla Planifolia Bean Extract (real vanilla)

(If you're intrigued by the presence of alcohol, you might wonder why it's in the cream: if you've ever scraped the pulp from a vanilla pod, you know it's stubborn, sticky and tacky. This also applies to the vanilla used in this formula. To scent the cream with this natural vanilla, it needs to be dissolved in alcohol. The alcohol used is organic quality and there's really very little of it in the cream (so little that your kitchen scales couldn't even weigh it), so you needn't worry about it!)

Usage: Only a really small amount is needed. Apply the cream ideally to moistened skin (e.g. after treating the face with toner or washing), this application ensures perfect absorption into the skin. When using the optimal amount of cream, the skin doesn't shine, on the contrary it's silky and pleasant to touch.

Use by: within 6 months of opening

Storage: Store at temperatures up to +25 °C (it's a natural property of the plant butters and oils used that they become liquid at very high temperatures – if the cream travels with you to warm climates and becomes liquid, this has no effect on quality – you can either let it solidify in a cool place (e.g. fridge) or use it in liquid form as a nourishing "oil").

Cocoa butter: Although it's called "butter", it has nothing in common with real dairy butter. It's obtained from the seeds (beans) of the cacao tree, which was known a thousand years ago to the Maya, who used its divine fruits – not for nothing is the cacao tree called "Theobroma", meaning "food of the gods". The butter is obtained by pressing the beans, which can then be further ground into cocoa powder. Central American civilisations processed cacao beans not only to obtain cocoa powder as the main ingredient for making chocolate, but also for the butter content, forming valued skin protection in harsh climatic conditions.
