"Walking barefoot is natural for humans, but it is not always safe to practice in our modern society. We were delighted to get the nod from naBOSo if we wanted to try the Rooty rug.

The rug simulates tree roots. It's quite hard and quite rough, that's what surprised me about it, however it's very comfortable for the feet. It doesn't have a high pile, so it's easy to maintain (just knock it out or vacuum with a vacuum cleaner nozzle). The design is acceptable for me, eventually the kids will have it in their room, but more neutral colours and shapes can be chosen. It is a sensomotor aid that stimulates the foot, promotes proper foot arches, helps to improve the stability of the lower limbs, children can train their balance on it.I have placed it in a strategic place in the passage between the living room and the kitchen, so we go over it several times a day, the children sometimes even play on it."

How does the carpet work?

The root carpet was developed because flat floors are bad for our feet. RootyRUG complements walking in nature on a varied surface and exercises otherwise unengaged muscles in the foot that should take care of their proper function.
