"Walking barefoot is natural for humans, but in our modern society it cannot always be done safely. I gladly accepted the offer from naBOSo to try the root carpet from the Rooty rug brand.

The carpet simulates tree roots. It is quite firm and rather rough, which surprised me, but it is very pleasant for the feet. It doesn't have a high pile, so it's easy to maintain (just shake out or vacuum with a nozzle). The design is acceptable to me, the children will have it in their room eventually, but you can choose more neutral colours and shapes. It is a sensorimotor aid that stimulates the foot, supports proper foot arch, helps improve stability of the lower limbs, children can train balance on it. I placed it in a strategic location in the passage between the living room and kitchen, so we cross it many times daily, and the children sometimes play on it."

How does the carpet work?

The root carpet was developed because flat floors harm our feet. RootyRUG supplements walking in nature on varied surfaces and exercises otherwise unused muscles in the foot that should be responsible for their proper function.
